The Tree’s Founder and Managing Director is an experienced and highly successful C-level executive and businessman.

Having built an IT firm up from scratch to become a thriving multi-national entity, Jonathan began to look for a fresh challenge after selling the organisation a few years ago.

With a deep passion for woodworking born of a hobbyist’s zeal, it was therefore only a natural progression to look to direct his efforts into the carpentry field and industry.

Jonathan’s vision and enthusiasm is set to drive The Tree forward as a company that respects the traditional values of the trade and actively embraces technological advances.

The Tree has a bright future.

I have a strong history in face-to-face sales from time served within the luxury watch & high-end jewellery industry. This is backed up by nearly a decade of negotiating and facilitating complex and large sum B2B IT deals for two separate Fortune 500 organisations and all the logistics experience and associated considerations that such corporate and enterprise-level trade deals entail.

Although new to the bespoke carpentry industry, the skills acquired over the last 20+ years mean that I am highly suited to the role of overseeing day-to-day operations for The Tree, such as client and vendor relations, managing projects, inventory and logistics, working with our CAD suite of software to render our designs and maintain the website and social media side of things.

Arturs is a greatly valued and multi-talented member of the team.

Arturs had worked on numerous projects for and with Jonathan over the last few years and proved himself to be highly versatile with any practical challenge or application.

With an unmatched work ethic it was a ‘no brainer’ to bring Arturs onboard as our Senior Carpenter; we can’t think of a better mentor for our latest recruit and apprentice, Ryan, to learn from.

Ryan is a true local and joined The Tree after regularly popping by to enquire how the factory unit build was progressing (for details and pictures, see our blog, link here –> www.thetree.co.uk/blog).

Ryan quickly proved himself to be a friendly and capable young man and so it made perfect sense to bring him onboard as our apprentice.
